TV1 EFW Facility was the first ‘Gasifier technology’ waste energy facility of its kind. Ovalway were contracted by Air Products to design, pre-fabricate and install some 2000 meters of stainless steel specialist hydraulic piping to supply the three in number hydraulic systems that would feed the facility and breakdown the waste before it was processed in the gasifier.
Project duration was 8 months from start to finish with 100% of the pre-fabricated pipework installed first time. The complete installation was flushed and pressure tested by Ovalway before final connections and commissioning took place.
Tees Valley Energy From Waste facility TVI will produce renewable electric power from municipal solid waste (MSW) supplied, the facility will process Municipal Solid Waste of approximately 1000 tons per day.
Ovalway were awarded TVII fabrication and installation in 2015 and fabricated 100% of the pipework before the project was mothballed.
